Bryon Speller (Dj Moss) was born in Philadelphia on January 1, 1981 and moved to Phoenix with his dad and step-mom when he was 4. He started playing the alto saxaphone in the 5th grade and played until he reached his sophmore year in high school. During that time he played in traditional bands, and jazz bands where he could improvise and really let loose. When Bryon was in the 8th grade he played at a talent show in front of at least 150 people, not the biggest crowd in the world, but it was to him. Bryon played the John Coltrane classic "Naima" which he had learned by ear listening and playing along with the CD in his spare time. He did that a lot with many different songs, especially once he reached the 9th grade when he was no longer involved with the jazz band. After his sophmore year he put down the sax and got into mixing but Bryon has the desire to start playing again and will combine his two skills and create some unique music in the near future.
